This Day In History - May 24, 1989

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is released in theaters. Personal Note: This is also a stellar Indiana Jones movie. You have to love the grail lore, the Brotherhood of the Cruciform Sword, the return of Sallah, Marcus Brody fighting the Nazis and threatening to spit in their faces.... too good. As far as I'm concerned the series of Indiana Jones movies ends here.
