Remember our fallen stars

I'm neither a U.S. veteran nor former U.S. marine but served my mother country, South Korea, as an army officer for 2 years.

U.S. helped South Korea during the Korean War (1950 ~ 1953). Many of young men deployed (480,000) to fought against North Korea communist and over 35,000 soldiers died (the most casualties except South Korean Army-150,000) for that small and poor country- South Korea.

Not just U.S. troops, over 180 countries deployed troops to protect freedom. UK, Canada, Turkey, Austrailia and so many nations.

No matter your nationality, race, gender, age, we should remember those who served or are serving now for us.

We can have a holiday weekend. BBQ, shopping, everything would be okay, but let's keep this in mind - remember them, for a second at least.
