Backstage Capital Podcast Audiogram

To help promote the Backstage Capital podcasts, I make audiograms (thanks to the @WNYC tech team for their open source code!) so people can play native media on Twitter (gets more engagement than embedded audio cards, so they say).

This shot is an example featuring our guest from Season 2 Episode 1 of the Mission & Values podcast.

I used an online color generator (triad, tetrad, analogous...) to spark ideas for a new palette based on the single brand purple we had in use. I wanted to be able to mix up the colors on quote images and audiograms to have it feel fun, fresh, and bold, just like Backstage itself.

I've been experimenting with tinted background photos for these, too.
