Pepparkaka Dala Horse

Inspired by my Swedish heritage and a baking class I took with my mother around last Christmas.

Pepparkaka are a traditional Swedish gingerbread eaten around Christmas time. In our class we created some of these cookies in a Dala horse shape, which are a traditional woodcrafted form in Sweden.
