Hello! Here's my first post on Dribbble. I'll be posting more branding projects along with animations and other cool designs!

Logo Concept:
This logo was created as a part of my final college project where I created a fictional organisation focused on animal preservation in South Africa.

I wanted the logo to display the beautiful nature that South Africa has to offer- this is shown through the clear sunset and the iconic Table Mountain in the negative space. But I also wanted the key values of the organisation to be shown, so the Rhino (being one of the worlds most endangered animals) represents the poaching crisis that is currently present in South Africa. I used the play of negative/positive space to emphasise the contrast of South Africa's beauty and current crisis.
