This portrait of René Descartes is a carefully plotted face-mapped averaging of four known portraits that may begin to capture a closer semblance of his appearance.
To create of this image, I first aligned two sets of portraits before computationally rendering each outcome into a new set, to then repeat the process for a final rendering.
