Paan, not a dessert but a symbolic end of a traditional Indian meal. A sweet and juicy mix of gulkand (rose petal jam), mouth fresheners like cloves, fennel seeds, all wrapped in betel leaves. Paan is normally chewed as a palate cleanser, a breath freshener, and has been found useful for digestive purposes.
