1 Kings: The Start of the Civil War

I finished reading Marvel's Civil War II and found a sweet alternate cover by Michael Cho in the back. I loved his retro take on the comic book and wanted to apply that style to some of my favorite books.
1 Samuel to 2 Chronicles are my jam. My favorite parts of scriptures are the tale of Israel's failure to fulfill their part of God's covenant and the deeds that land them in exile. This is the first of many more to come.
I like the lighter approach to such heavy material but I think the only thing that will remain constant in future pieces will be the color differentiation for Judah and Israel. I think its an easy why to tell the story visually.
