Day 12 of 100 Days of Motion Script
I've introduced a gradient overlay into the solid layer in the back, to add some depth to these colored ones. This is the first type of the series I drew completely with the pen tool. I would probably advise against it, because I felt like it took me a lot longer to tweak the handlebars than it would just drawing it by hand, and redrawing it. After creating all the paths, I went back in with the pen tool to split up the strokes by adding more anchor points, copy and pasting. These groups were divided into layers and were combined, at random into their own pre-compositions. There were about five pre-comps, with about 10 layers each. I added a keyframe at their original spot, and then went over about a full second to a staggered spot. I went back into each pre-comp, and gave them some trim paths, but with the opacity, you only get to see the trail end of it. I played with staggering the starts and ends of the position, but I liked how they all ended together. :)
