Design: DLH Logo

I figured since I shared a shot of the Design: DLH poster earlier, that I'd show the word mark too! The brief was to create something modern and "designy" while avoiding all of the typical Duluth/Northwoods/Minnesota cliches.

Design: Duluth was a series of exhibitions and presentations put on by the Duluth Art Institute to help educate the public about design. The logo had to be simple enough to work along side a variety of disciplines—everything from craft beer, to furniture, to posters, to airplanes.
