Red Sox Scores: May 4, 2017
Game No. 028
The Sox had a tough night on the mound, with starting pitcher Kyle Kendrick, just called up from Triple-A, giving up eight hits and six runs by the fourth inning. The bullpen didn’t fare much better, allowing another nine hits and two runs. Despite nine hits themselves, including Dustin Pedroia’s first homer of the year, the Sox could only push three runs across the plate to split the four-game series with the Orioles.

For every Red Sox game this season, @Dan Perrera and I will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red.
