Red Sox Scores: April 28, 2017
Game No. 022
The Red Sox came out of the gate strong in Friday night’s matchup against the reigning World Champion Chicago Cubs. Boston managed to put up five runs against Jake Arrieta in the first inning, including a home run from Andrew Benintendi and a string of base hits as they brought every batter in their lineup to the plate. Chicago made an effort to claw their way back into the game but fell a run short, sending the Cubs fans that had swarmed Fenway Park home disappointed.

For every Red Sox game this season, @Amy Parker and I will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red.
