I never teach my daughter how to handle a brush or how to mix the colours. I love when she figures it out by herself. And also i think that personal experience is the best way to get how things work. I never say her she does bad when she fails. I just give her another piece of paper and allow her to draw whatever she wants.

As the result she loves drawing and i think she's amazing at it. Here's the picture of the Indian she drew today. It wasn't an objective to draw an Indian. It was just "draw something and then check out what does it look like". This time it is an Indian.
