D is for Dauphin Redbirds

The Dauphin Redbirds were inducted into the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005. Known for a trusty staff, sturdy fielding, and solid hitting, the Redbirds were outstanding in the late ‘50s and early ‘60s. The Redbirds won many tournaments in the tournament era, clinching back to back batting titles in ’61 and ’62.
