Why is Justice Blind?
With today's current events, the question that continues to rear its head remains: "Where is justice?" The commonly-known symbol for justice is a woman, blindfolded, holding scales and a sword. It represents the altruism that justice has no partiality or bias. Yet in world with so much injustice, perhaps she is no longer blinded away from discrimination but blinded from the injustice that plagues thousands of people.
