Game 5 in Edmonton saw the Oilers overwhelm the Sharks in the 3rd period and overtime. Despite goaltender Martin Jones' best effort, the Oilers offensive push finally saw David Desharnais score the game winner 18 minutes into the first overtime. The Oilers are now 1 win away from advancing into the next round of the playoffs with the series shifting back to San Jose.
