Timescale "Tiger" Logo

Would really appreciate your critique on this early logo concept. Thanks!

The general silhouette of the tiger is meant to resemble a stopwatch and in turn implies characteristics of speed and agility, much like a tiger. To round out the idea of the stopwatch, a ‘hand’ was added as another stripe for the tigers face and given an accent color for effect. The concentric circles that create the stripes of the tiger grow in stroke width to indicate the database’s scalability. Additionally, the stroke matches the wordmark for consistency and creates a repetition throughout the logo.
