Easter Soccer-Themed Badge

After attending @Creative South last weekend, I walked away inspired by many incredible designers & people, a part of a new community and drawn to get better as a designer. @Bob Ewing talked about getting better daily & how he spent daily time by lettering daily for 500+ days straight. I was tempted to tackle daily lettering, but felt drawn to something a little different.

For a year, I am challenging myself to become a better digital Illustrator. I have admired people like @Tom Whalen, @DKNG & others for much of my designing career. Now I love seeing @Ben Stafford, @Rocky Roark, @Joshua Noom, @Scott Brinkley & Bob Ewing illustrate, and I’ve actually met those guys. I want to become at least half the designer that these guys are, but I know it will not come without putting in the work. I’ll be posting weekly (my goal is each Sunday) and sketching & drawing daily.

To give me some context, I am marrying the idea with another passion of mine; soccer. I am going to create 52 soccer-styled badges with different themes along the way. I hope you enjoy seeing them.
