Red Sox Scores: April 16, 2017

Game No. 012

Sunday afternoon got off to a rocky start as Sox starter Drew Pomeranz gave up three runs in the first inning but his team was quickly able to bounce back for another come-from-behind victory. The home team piled up 17 hits, including a two-run blast by Pablo Sandoval to tie the game in the fourth, and a two-run single by Mitch Moreland to take the lead in the seventh. Mookie Betts and Christian Vázquez racked up three hits apiece while Joe Kelly earned the win out of the bullpen and Craig Kimbrel struck out two to get the save.

For every Red Sox game this season, @Dan Perrera and I will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red.
