I was excited to see this movie for a long time (since it quickly became the highest grossing anime film ever after its release in Japan) and it lived up to all of the hype and more. A truly mind-blowing piece of animation, writing, and film in general. I want to see it again already.
Also holy crap the Alamo Drafthouse in SF is an amazing place!
