Dial an Uber

This is another project that I conceived, led and launched in 2016.

At Uber, We're always trying to simplify our experience make it just right for every user in the world. In this case, we focussed in on our international users who often request a ride in extremely low bandwidth scenarios such as 2G and EDGE. Downloading our app becomes a barrier in such environments to getting a ride.

To solve this problem we conceived of Dial. At its heart, Dial is 3 things -
a. A blazingly fast web experience accessible from any smartphone. No need to download the app.
b. Accelerates users to a phone call between the rider and the nearest driver at the press of a button.
c. Works with cash payments, the payment method of choice.
