Kidscoast // Rebrand

Message/Tagline: The adventure starts here.

Learning about the Bible and living for Christ is exciting and full of adventure! Our challenge was to create a brand that conveys conveys this while remaining consistent with the Seacoast brand. Due to the names, Seacoast and Kidscoast, the use of waves and water seem fitting to show forward movement as well as a journey (an adventure).

Idea flow: Coast > water > waves > forward movement > journey/adventure > boats > colorful nautical flags > use flag designs and meanings to represent part of the journey/adventure

Target audiences: We can help kids, parents and staff navigate uncharted waters and view the experience as an adventure.

Drivers:
Apply the Kidscoast Bible verse:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. // Deut 6: 4-9

* Adventure: Reference in verse“…At home…and on the road.” Learning about Jesus is an adventure. On a quest or adventure, kids go to new places. Along the way, they may encounter bodies of water, mountains, trees, hills, and cities. In the sky might be the sun, or the moon and the stars. But at times, they may want the safety of home.
