Bi-lingurl (it's like bilingual and girl at the same time)

I was asked to make a couple of character to be used around a chinese translation product. Mainly, to help give some character and fun to a powerful but somewhat sterile product. Bringing characters into the mix was a great way to break the wall to the user and demonstrate that human value.

For the characters, I wanted to create a pair of friends that can converse and look like theyre both cool and cultured. I sent this to my friend Jeremy and he said 'she looks like she makes her own salad dressing' -- far as im concerned that exactly what I was going for.
