Game 81 / Check out the whole project here

Here’s the thing about the Jackets: we seem to dedicate ourselves to streaks, whether it is winning or losing. So let’s hope that when the playoffs roll around on Wednesday we pick a new streak to go after.

-Our loss to the Flyers on Saturday marks our sixth consecutive loss. During the first period, Philadelphia beat Bob twice to give them a 2 goal lead within 1:32 mins. The second goal, by Zotto, was temporarily under review for goalie interference. But it turned out that Jones, not a Flyer, was who nudged Bob.

-In the second period both teams traded Power Play goals. The wrist shot by Jones ended our dreadful drought we’ve endured for the past 20 power plays. But alas, as hard as we tried we still couldn’t break the lead the Flyers had built.

-The third period was scoreless ending the second to last game of the regular season 4-2 Flyers win.
