Game No. 001

Spring was in the air on Opening Day at Fenway Park as the Red Sox hosted the Pittsburgh Pirates for some early-season interleague play. Cy Young winner Rick Porcello threw seven solid innings to earn his first win of the season. The Sox offense put together an exciting five run fifth inning featuring a triple from Jackie Bradley Jr., a key bunt single from Sandy León, and a three-run homer from future Rookie of the Year Andrew Benintendi.
