Smart Home - Dark sound control theme

In our previous design shots for a smart home application, we shared some reasons why it might be meaningful to provide users with the option to use a dark UI, that automatically turns on during evening hours. This is another example we tested in our dual UI showing an audio visualiser.

As designers and developers, we should spend more time thinking about the context in which the applications we are working on will be used and improve user experience based on data that may be available to us. Today, many of our devices have multiple built-in sensors that can tell us a lot about the way the devices are being used. We can work to simplify the user experience by minimizing the number of clicks and commands necessary to achieve an action, we can use AI to predict commands and use this intelligence for other improvements.

In addition to smart home applications, we are designing interfaces for self-driving cars, programs similar to SIRI and other uses of artificial intelligence.
