Layer Delet·R // Photoshop freebie

Dear dribbble community,

after having been here for a couple of days now (and many warm welcomes), I think it's time to give something back. So enjoy this free time-saver:

The tiny script runs through your photoshop file, finds all unused layers and removes solely the ones which aren't used in any of the layer comps.

Many thanks to the cool people at StackOverflow who helped putting this together. Note that I tested it successfully in Photoshop CS5, CS6 as well as CC 2017 – however, I do not take any responsibility and I am not liable for any damage caused through use of the script. Depending on the number of compositions, tt may take a while for the script to go through them. Please make sure to always save your work before running the script.
