Ligatura

OMG YES! This ligature (ליגטורה ligatura) for Goodtype Tuesday has a special place in my heart. One of the reasons I started working with Hebrew type is because Hebrew letters don’t lend themselves to natural connections. Ligatures are a major challenge, and to this day my number one goal with every piece is discovering opportunities for new tie-ins, and pushing the boundaries of legibility.
Here’s to #ligatures, born out of a need for efficiency, always a major player in typographic delights. I salute you, ligatures, with this tri-colored Sour Sticks foodtype.
