The graphic element is an apple stylized through national ornaments symbolizing the main emblem of the city known for many years which enabled to glorify Kazakhstan to the whole world. National stylized ornaments used in the logo design refer to history, traditions and carry the spirit of national patriotism.
The red color represents life, comfort, warmth, love and those momentous feelings and emotional binding experienced by everyone from Almaty to their city. Green symbolizes harmony as well as forever green and blossoming city.
