-Today’s mid-day win was a nice cap to Nationwide’s soldout Fan Appreciation Day. But I guess we could have guessed something like this might have happened with The Flyers’ track record. They haven't won at Nationwide Arena since 2005, and have lost 10 straight in that time.

-The single goal of the game came with just a few minutes left in the second period. Wennberg tipped in Kyle Quincey's shot right out of the air.

-Although we won, it wasn’t because The Flyers didn’t try. They outshot the Jackets, 36-21 but Bob was perfect.

-Bjorkstrand missed his second game after taking an illegal hit from Toronto's Roman Polak on Wednesday night. Polak has since been suspended two games and fined.
