STIC Concept

This is a preliminary logo for the potential introduction of student-initiated courses (STICs) at University of Maryland.

The fruit represents the "fruits" of learning through a peer-based model. The seeds represent how the students who learn through peer-instruction could be inspired to become peer-instructors for others in the future, hence growing another fruit.

An apple is used because it is traditionally associated with education, and this program would be a progressive spin on a traditional classroom.
