Game 70 / Check out the whole project here

Game Highlights:
Staying the course and finding ways to win, even in overtime.

-I am always a big fan of preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. With that being said, it can be a stressful process that yields good results. I think that’s how the Jackets played this game.

-The Islanders got on the board first with a Slap Shot. But during the second the Jackets perked up and scored 2 of their own goals. They held the lead until 8:48 into the third period when New York whipped one past Korpi.

-The game seeped into overtime, but Atkinson poked the puck from behind the net and past Greiss to end quickly just 1:19 into OT.

-The CBJ ended up pressing hard and out shooting the Islanders 38-22.

-With 1 more win we will have officially clinched a playoff spot.
