Leland's Cabin Homepage Redesign
We were so excited to work with our client Leland's Cabins again to better tell their story on their homepage. Leland's Cabins came to us with a clear vision of the story they wanted to tell. The following changes were made. "Where Happy Happens" was changed to the simple and evocative, "Come Home." "Hang your hat" is a tagline with a slightly masculine-leaning direction, and the audience for Leland's Cabins reaches both female and male demographics. So we changed the tagline as well. Come Home was followed by, "to a cabin built by local craftsman." Just under the the brand headline is an immediate call to action, plan your cabin. Hey, why waste time?
There were 3-4 sections on the homepage that repeated information and tried to feature Leland's Cabins and the company in various ways. These were removed to make way for a simple homepage that gets right to the point. Following the hero image and call to action are three simple points that set Leland's Cabins apart. Local Craftsmen-built, personalized design (yes, every cabin can be completely customized for you), and eco-consciousness. Leland's Cabins plants 20 trees for every cabin they build! That's more than the lumber they use.
Popular Cabins come next, with a link to view all of their cabins.
Social proof in the form of client testimonials show customers how outstanding the experience of buying from Leland's Cabins is.
If you're still not convinced by the time you get to the testimonials section, two action cards let customers become VIPs with behind the scenes access passes to self tour the cabins at any time—an exciting offer since Leland's is home to the largest cabin showroom in Texas.
