Health. Care.
I've been thinking quite a bit about what healthcare means recently in light of the new potential legislation being touted.
Healthcare says a lot about where a country places it's values and priorities. In America today, it seems to be more about wealthcare. I designed this logo for a Columbus-based free clinic that offers care to the most vulnerable. The mark represents both hands, that of the doctor and patient, equally. It's not a handout or a hand up, it's a hand-in-hand statement about the intrinsic value of human life with the band-aid serving as the equalizing agent.
Someday this country will have universal healthcare. Until we do, let us never lose sight of the fact that human wellness is so much more important than corporate wealth.
