Flying Deuces Music logo refresh

I created a refreshed version of the Flying Deuces Music logo. I incorporated the style of pick that this guitar virtuoso used (Heavy, white Fender 358 jazz picks), and the wings to tie in to WWI-style badges/medals

A little story behind this: I designed the original logo design about 12 years ago for a friend of a friend, for her record label she runs and puts music out by her late father, Danny Gatton. I got to talking to this young woman, one thing led to another, and I ended up marrying her. 10 years of marriage, 2 kids, and 2 logo re-designs later, here we are. So you could say, she's one of my favorite clients. :-)
