Wax-Based Screenprint

2-colour screenprint done solely with wax coated screens and a soldering iron.

For my final year product design engineering project I'm developing a process of creating screen-printing stencils by dipping them in molten wax and then removing the wax with a heat pen. By dipping in the wax, it creates a smooth coating on the screen, melting away any previous wax stencil. Because of this, I was able to do both colours for this print on the same screen pretty swiftly. Making prints is fun. This project can be fun sometimes. Fun.
