Close Proximity Networking

Early explorations off two close proximity networking mobile applications, utilising either Bluetooth or Beacon technology to allow people within the same building or room to discover and connect with each other. On the left, Wink is focused on dating for those moments of noticing someone on the other side of the bar or opposite you on the train, you send a Wink and they can send one back. We stopped progressing on this project because our initial user research with women outlined that there is a privacy issue of them not feeling comfortable with random men "winking" them throughout the day wherever they are. On the right the focus was on professional networking where the most likely use case would be at a meet-up, networking event or conference.
