Me, You and the Zoo – Timeline

Me, You and the Zoo is the living archive of Chester Zoo. To complement a BBC drama about the park's origins I helped create an experience that holds the history and memories of both the zoo and its loyal visitors too.

Using old flyers and brochures for reference, I treated each portion of the site so it reflected the style of the years it related to. So memories from the 1960s were housed within a 60s-style Chester Zoo site, and so on back and forward through time.

This gave fans an unexpected opportunity to feel like they were visiting the zoo back in those days (or at least its website, if the internet existed all that time ago!).
