Blue Jackets Score: March 2, 2017

Game 62 / Check out the whole project here

Game Highlights:
-Once again we had a single goal game. Thankfully it belonged to the Jackets, but they still made us wait.
-Brandon Saad poked his own rebounded puck into the Wild’s net during the third period after it slipped loose in the crease.
-It had been 5 periods since the last time the Jackets scored a goal, that's over 100 minutes and 48+ SOG.
-During the second period the Wild seemed to have gotten the puck past Bob in a scurry, but the goal was immediately waved off and confirmed by Toronto that a distinct kicking motion from Erik Haula was the cause of the nongoal.
-At the end of the night coach Bruce Boudreau was not a happy camper. He blamed this bad call and another elbowing penalty the refs tagged the wild for as the big reasons for their loss.
-The last time the Wild and Jackets played was NYE during the infamous battle of the streaks (the Jackets were at 14 and the Wild had 12). I’m proud to say the Jackets left on top both times.
