Mobile First

Spent a ton of time making sure that my portfolio site would look just as good (and maybe even a little better) on mobile. I think it is super important to craft mobile experiences that aren't just responsive, but that create a seamlessly new experience for the user.

For instance, I've never quite liked going to a webpage on mobile only to see that the enormously wide hero image just shrinks down proportionately to the device edges. To me this comes off as almost a little lazy at times and it can be a bit of a hindrance to the legibility of certain content.
