On the Importance of Tabular Figures in a video player

Developed by Klim Type Foundry, Calibre is the official typeface of Spotful - an interactive video platform. We found the tabular numbers in this font particularly useful, especially in a user interface where there is many data based on numbers such as timing.

However, some browsers are still not supporting Opentype features. To ensure that every browser is able to support the font, we created a minimal version of Calibre that includes only the tabular numbers and some modified punctuation glyphs. Punctuation glyphs were moved up to be visually aligned with the numbers.
