Neutralizing the USB Threat

This is the cover illustration & title for an ebook about unsecured USB drives and the threats they pose to businesses.

I had planned a big involved illustration with all kinds of scary things escaping from the thumb drive, but when I started sketching out the composition I drew the USB stick first and noticed the little holes looked like eyes. This concept hit me and I had a moment of "holy shit, that's way better..." so I went with it. It's much more impactful and dramatic than what I had planned, with the secondary benefit of not taking me near as long.
