Game 61 / Check out the whole project here

Game Highlights:
When I say the word "treat" my dog instantly stops what she is doing and becomes the most intense being on the face of the earth. She suddenly has the capabilities to be poised and focussed, waiting for the chance to get a reward. I am willing to bet the same neurological reaction happens in my head when I hear a CBJ puck "ding" off the bars of our opponent's goal. Unfortunately, we were not rewarded this game. 4 "dings" sounded, and the scoreboard didn't care.

The single goal of the night came during overtime when the Canadians screened Bob and Galchenyuk blasted a puck into the upper net. The moment was deafening, and came just minutes after the Jackets seemed to claw their way out of losing the game when Bob created an ice angle save that sent Toronto deep into review.

Although the entire game was a glorious display of hockey, it's always a tough puck to swallow when victory seems so close, and then gets ripped away. Though I have to say, if we are going to go down, I'm proud to say we did it this way.
