Points of Light Concept

This is a quick concept for a local organization's event called "Points of Light." It is a multicultural festival where paper bag lanterns will be set adrift in one of the city canals.

General gist here is the yellow is the light, with the lower set being the reflection in the canal water. Blue is for the canal.

A few other concepts had more than one lantern but that seemed too busy. I also didn't really get as far as developing how this world work in single color applications.
