The first symbol depicts that the wandering hobo will catch some grief at a house or an establishment. The watchful eye is present in the symbol, with a mouth opening in rebuke. They may want to steer clear, lest they be yelled at.

The second variant depicts a yelling of another sort. The hobo in this type of encounter would be chased up and down the street while being yelled at. The markings depict further conflagration of a level of anger and violence they may want to duck altogether.
