Save The Date Party Invitation

This is clearly a rebound of one of STUDIOJQ amazing series "Made You Look". This usually isn't my style, but I always like testing out different styles of design, especially when its something harmless like a Save The Date Party invite for a friend.

As designers, everyone in your circle of life knows who you are and on occasion are asking things from you. We get so caught up in our daily crazy busy lives that its easy to get annoyed, and do a rushed job. Hey, its not a paid client right? Wrong. I love these opportunities, because it gives you the chance to practice, to try something new, and have no pressure of a given outcome. In this space you can fail, and its okay to fail. And more times than not you learn something new. Whether its a new technique, a better workflow in sketch, a new shortcut, a new way of creatively looking at a problem, YOU LEARN SOMETHING. Because habits of quality are something you have to actively fight to maintain every single day.
