The City That Never Sleeps — NY

Hey 👋 there

Just would like to share totally different direction I usual follow in my works. Meet NY skyline in its glow — lots of gradient and blendings to emphasize the look and feel of the city that never sleeps.
I've never been to NY before but there is pretty solid abstraction made up in my mind based on all the movies and videos have watched, articles and stories have read. What abstractions do you have related to this city? What style do you recall hearing — New York?

As for this illustration, initially it was created for a footer background for the client back in fall 2016. Today I adjust it experimenting with more darker and dazzling effects to present it on @Dribbble today 😌
