Lowell Khmer Refugee Monument Poster

This is a very quick poster I did for a local organization's fundraiser. They are trying to erect a monument at Lowell City Hall to the Cambodian refugees who settled the area in the 80's. Fun fact: Lowell is home to the second largest Khmer population, right after Long Beach, CA.

It has the iconic Angkor Wat in the background, styled as it is on the Cambodian Flag 🇰🇭 but with the colors tweaked. Lowell City Hall in front is illustrated in a similar manner, with a monument-leks shape to the left. The clock tower overlaps the translation separator line to give it some depth.
