Be Present & Fearless

This is a bit of a different take on a dribbble post — getting back to the roots of the platform and the idea of posting work in-progress.

I attended a Creative Morning talk today and this was a quote that really resonated. Then I came in to work, and read an article about how we need more "shitty work", play and iteration (read it, it's great: http://femke.co.nz/articles/shitty).

I've never been one to attempt hand-drawn typography, but always admired it. Today, I decided I'd try to be fearless and give it a go. At first I was embarrassed of the sketches (they went straight in the bin). But I paused, dug them out and hung them all up on my wall to remind me that playing is good and it's ok to be imperfect and unrefined at times.
