About variant one:
The ever watchful eye is here but two-fold. There are two other smaller eyes which project the fear the hobo is feeling.

About variant two:
Many similar qualities of variant one pass through the piece. The ever watchful eye is there, as well as the two smaller, more fearful, eyes. However, the inner shape has been moved lower to just how afraid the hobo is.
